Noobie Foodie│Coco Cubano

Hello friends,
I'm really excited to write this post - Central Park recently opened near uni and now it's become my favourite place for food and hanging out with friends! And because it's newly opened there was a lot of specials - one of which was a free burger from Coco Cubano! So 2 of my friends and I decided to go for some FREE FOOD (best thing in the world)!

The deal was after 5pm we can wait and receive a FREE burger! But since I got there early I tried one of their coffee as well~
Tiramisu Latte
This was the Cubano aka Tiramisu Latte ($4.6) which is not my usual coffee of choice but it was very good! Interesting idea since tiramisu is a cofffee flavoured dessert to start with! And the coffee tasted a lot like tiramisu in a cake form! Definitely good to try!
Wagyu Burger
This was the Wagyu Burger ($17.9) which had 100% Wagyu beef mince with balsamic onion, capsicum, tomato, lettuce, aioli, bacon & cheese served on wholemeal bun and potato wedges on the side. The beef was slightly too dry for my liking but the bacon and cheese saved the burger for me! Very big portion and so filling!
Chicken Burger

This was my friend's Chicken Burger ($16.9) with piri piri chicken breast, bacon, aioli, cheese, bbq sauce rocket & jalapenos served on brioche bun and potato wedges on the side. Which he said was pretty good!

Noobie Foodie│Chur Burger

HELLO FRIENDS! :)

Recently I've been craving sweet potato chips so so so badly and after much discussion my friends and I decided to head to Chur Burger - the hottest place in Sydney at the moment for some delicious food! We headed to the one in Surry Hills and here my review of this wonderful place!

So first the food!
soo juicy and sooo good!
I ordered the Pulled Pork Burger with BBQ sauce, red slaw and fennel mayo! It was amazinggggggg! I really loved this burger! The pork was cooked til it was so soft I barely had to chew plus the buns were also super soft!! The sauce was really full of flavour and basically this burger was PERFECTION!
craving satisfied aww yeah!
AND THIS Sweet Potato Fries was the BOMB! Words cannot describe how satisfying it is to eat something you've been craving for AGES! I wish I had more room in my stomach (or a faster metabolism)!

This was the marinated grilled Chicken with hot sauce may and minted slaw! Looks amazing as well! I didn't get to taste this one because I was too obsessed with my own burger! HAHA

This was the crumbed fish fillet with pickled cucumber, lemon mayo and dill! Also on my MUST TRY next time list! I just want to try all the burgers - after all they're only $10!

Some chilli chips on the side as well! Delicious chippy goodness!!

Special mention and thanks to my friend Tom for getting us this interesting drink to try! It tastes like lemonade but a bit different..very interesting!

Re: Sculpture by the Sea 2013 :) Plus Food review at Moo Burger

Event Review:
Sculpture by the Sea is a annual art event that happens around October - November every year. Sculptures and instillations are placed from Bondi beach all through to the next beach! Best thing about this event is that it’s absolutely FREE
This is an event I attend every year ever since 2008 or 2009, I really enjoy looking at sculptures while strolling near the beach also taking in the scenery of the beach. Definitely an event I would recommend going to! This year I managed to be able to go with a close bro of mine who took photos for me! Here are some of the ones I really loved! THANKS SHEN! :D
BEACH IS BABe-ing <3

Carrying the weight of these rocks with these awesome people!

Shen’s awesome photo of another favourite for this year!

My favourite photo with my favourite sculpture but it’s on a camera for which I don’t have a cord :(

For anyone interesting in attending or for more information: click here!

MUST BRING TO SCULPTURES LIST:
1. Water - it’s a lot of walking so staying hydrated is so important!
2. Camera - for obvious reasons
3. Sunglasses - to protect your eyes from the glare of Australian sun
4. Sunscreen - the lovely organisers of this event provided FREE sunscreen in stands for everyone this year! But remember to put sunscreen on 20 minutes before actual sun exposure!
5. Friends & family - this is an event great for family members to gather and walk around! Great bonding time but don't come with too many people because the walk way is pretty narrow so a huge group will take an entire path and block it for everyone else  :P

Keep going for PHOTOS! And for FOOD REVIEWS :)
