Noobie Foodie│Naruone

Hello friends! For those who don't know I LOVE KOREAN FOOD! ALOT! And luckily for me I have a group of friends who agree with me YAYY! So our fambam went to have family at Naruone (mainly for the fried chicken hehe). I really miss you guys btw if any of you are reading this :(
ANYWAY! Naruone is definitely one of my personal favourite Korean places in the City! And this post will tell you why!
FRIED CHICKEN
So on to the food..
Japchae

Japchae!!

This is how we start every Korean meal! With Japchae! Japchae is stir fried potato/starch noodles with a variation of vegetables and sometimes beef.  Definitely one of the best Korean dishes mainly because the noodles are so flavoursome and the texture of the noodles is so smooth and nice! Yummy!
Crispy Edges!

Seafood Pancake!
Another dish that we ALWAYS get because our friend loves seafood pancake to death! Every time, every Korean restaurant without fail we will order seafood pancake! But I'm not complaining - it's one of my favourites as well! There's always calamari, mussels, prawns and spring onion! I love the fried edges and chewy texture of this pancake!
Fried Chicken!
OHHH LOOK AT THAT GLORIOUS CHICKEN! This was the boneless fried chicken in original flavour and man it was good! SO delicious! Not too oily but fried to perfection - warning do not eat this too quickly it will burn your tongue! This dish literally vanished from the plate! HAHA!
Steamed Egg
Steamed egg! I love eggs no matter how they're cooked but this is was a yummy dish that was warm and fluffy! So good! Very easy to eat and I will learn how to cook this one day!
Bulgogi!
And of course bulgogi! Definitely a must when in the mood for meat! Marinated beef thinly sliced bee-  who can say no to that? I can't!

Noobie Foodie│Danjee Korean BBQ

Danjee is a new Korean BBQ place that opened up in the city not long ago and since my friend is a crazy KBBQ addict of course we went to try it out! It was definitely a bit different to the other places I've been to and here is my review of the place!

The Food First…
Oyster YUMMM!!

For starters we order the Fresh Oysters with a special sauce Gochhujang which is a Korean hot pepper paste they use for pretty much all of the food! Having oyster with pepper sauce was definitely a new experience!
Favourite salad!!
This is one of the most interesting salads I’ve ever had! Definitely highly recommended to try at Danjee! It was delicious! The rice crispy bits really added an interesting texture! I would go there again and just order the salad (in attempt to be healthy) :P

Of course like any Korean BBQ place there were side dishes! They offered a few different ways sadly I was a bit disappointed that there wasn’t more variety but that’s mainly because I really LOVE side dishes - sometimes I eat more side dishes than the actual dish itself!
DROOLSSSS

The PORK BELLY YUMMMM! Sam gyeop sal the star of many of KBBQ-er’s fantasies! It was really fresh pork belly but there wasn’t enough of it!! Something cool that happened was when they were cooking the pork belly they actually tilted the plate to let the oil slide down! Some high tech KBBQ thing!
Fat duck :P
We were still hungry after all that food so we decided to order some marinated duck as well! The duck was well marinated and very juicy and fatty! YUM! We started BBQ-ing the duck as well to get the smoky flavour! So delicious!

OH OX TONGUE! One of my all-time favourite meats at KBBQ! At first I was really reluctant to try ox tongue cause I thought it was really gross to eat the tongue of an animal! But after I tried it the first time now I eat it EVERYTIME! The Ox tongue at Danjee was really thin and definitely a favourite!
